Originally, it was supposed to be a short 4-track EP, but as I began fleshing out the concept more and more, the tracklist grew and ironically became my largest album yet. About a year ago, I published my debut effort "overwinter". I was very inexperienced then, but I wanted to release it anyway in order to document my growth as an artist. Though still not the most seasoned producer, I feel like I've grown a lot. Unintentionally, I've found that this album captures a lot of the same ideas and ambitions I had back then, but in a different way and with better tools at my disposal to realize them. I also made it during & towards the end of a rather difficult period of my life, completing a lot of the issues I wanted to convey with my last LP. In a sense, this album is what past-me really wanted to create back then. I think it's my best work yet and it means a lot to me.
