Tools used: compression tester 8mm to 19mm socket set 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 ratchets two jacks (preferred), one jack will work two jack stands PB Blaster penetrating spray two 6" 3/8 extensions long screwdriver (or something thin and 8" or longer will work) various flat head and philips screw drivers ft lb torque wrench (capable of up to 200ft lb), preferably one that can do angle torques magnet or grabber to get spark plugs out needle nose and regular plyers SPECIAL HONDA TOOL : Part No. 67101 (to remove and install crank pulley) 14mm 12 point socket (specific for head bolts) possible that you will need 10mm to 17mm wrenches razor blades or scraper some sort of brake or parts cleaner to clean engine up clean shop towels or rags hammer metal straight edge (the higher the cost the better off you will be, but I used a Harbor Freight one) funnel that fits into radiator hole feeler gauges (Harbor Freight has them cheap!) optional if you want to replace cam seal: chain vice grip tool oil filter plyers or channel locks if you can't get the oil filter off Parts you will need or should get: Head gasket head bolts valve cover gasket with grommets and tube seals fuel injector seals vtec solenoid gasket timing belt kit exhaust manifold gasket intake manifold gasket while not covered in the video, the thermostat is easy to replace and should be done too (done off camera) coolant 50/50 universal will work fully synthetic motor oil oil filter spark plugs if radiator hoses break when coming off, you will need these too optional but recommended cam seal You will likely need a new coolant pipe oring (the one in the back of the engine that you have to remove) .
