Christian Monique makes his Stellar Fountain debut this week with ‘Celestial Body’. Based in Italy, Christian has a long string of impressive discography credits, most notably Clinique Recordings, Inmost and Massive Harmony Records. Now fresh off an EP for DAR, Christian makes his first appearance on Stellar Fountain alongside remixes from GabiM and Fabri Lopez. ‘Celestial Body’ is a dreamy, progressive tune of the highest order. Encased in a shimmering atmospheric haze is a deep pulsating groove that quickly gets you into a meditative state. Astral effects add nicely to the cosmic surroundings before an otherworldly vocal motif gets showcased during the main break. Aptly titled, it’s an eight minute journey into the cosmos, perfectly fitting the Stellar Fountain ethos. First up on the remixes is GabiM who returns to Stellar Fountain following a great single for Paul Hazendonk’s MNL imprint in March. The Hungarian artist brings ‘Celestial Body’ a touch closer to the dance floor with a fuller, more percussive framework and tougher low end. The dreamy elements translate amazingly well, free flowing into a spaced out break, perfectly setting up a powerful drop. The release concludes with Fabri Lopez returning to the label following a collaborative single with Gabriel Borgo on Julian Rodriguez’s Massive Harmony Records. The Argentinean artist also brings more of a pure progressive feel to the track with galloping drive and clattering percussive waves. The vocal motif gets utilized nicely and for as celestial as it sounds the main arp really adds a wonderful cadence to the framework, resulting in one of Fabri’s best remixes to date. A great way to round out another well put together release from Stellar Fountain. Don’t miss it.
