The SPRI Sports Medicine Fellowship Program is a one year Knee, Shoulder and Hip Sports Medicine Fellowship. The fellows participate in a rotational schedule that allows each physician to garner experience in a variety of orthopaedic sports medicine specialties. The twelve months of sports medicine training consist of seeing patients in the Clinic, assisting in surgery, and covering team sporting events for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams and local high schools. The Steadman Clinic physicians who participate in the fellowship program perform approximately 2,500 surgeries per year. The Clinic serves recreational and elite athletes and patients from the Vail Valley, across the United States, and around the world.
