Pune Design Festival is organised by ADI Pune. Association of Designers of India (ADI) is a volunteer driven, not for profit organization, committed to promoting best practices in the profession of design in India. This festival as a platform has been transforming every year for the past 17 years purely due to esteemed contributors who present a new vantage point for design each time. This is the 18th year of PDF and we planned a carefully curated event and explored the theme ‘VERSUS’ Versus: Unveiling Design’s Multifaceted Brilliance Design thrives on navigating a rich landscape of possibilities meticulously weighing multiple solutions, exploring the bounds, and ultimately, drawing insightful comparisons. A deliberate dance of contrasts, and thoughtful examination. This year's theme "Versus" embraced this very essence. Vibrant discussions and debates that delved into the power of divergent perspectives to ignite clarity. We celebrate the understanding that sometimes, the path to the best solution lies not in singular spotlights, but in strategically crafted shadows of comparison. Design excellence isn't a lone peak to conquer, but a dynamic terrain where the most suitable path emerges from a multitude of promising possibilities. This years Opening performance was Kirtan (Prayer) sung by the students of MIT ID.
