The GAS COMPANY - You're All Alone (1966)

The GAS COMPANY from L.A., also known as The Gas Co., formed by folk-rockers Greg Dempsey and Kathy Yesse (Dalton), that recorded four singles in 1965/1967 before evolving into Daughters Of Albion (one album on Fontana label in 1968). Other members of the band were Ken Bloom, Greg Leroy (later member of Crazy Horse) and Gary Greene. This is the pug side of their second single released on April 1966, written by Greg and produced by Jack Nitzsche. B-side is "You'll Need Love" already posted on this channel. Kathy embarked on a solo career in 1973 and recorded the album "AMAZING", written and produced by Greg Dempsey, issued on Frank Zappa /Herb Cohen’s Discreet label, featuring stellar support from Little Feat.
