Jesus is always with us, but sometimes we get distracted by other things. It’s important for us to spend time focusing on Jesus and what he is saying to us. Thanks for being a part of our online church! This is our children’s sermon at Pine Island United Methodist Church for Sunday, July 20, 2025. This morning we hear the familiar story of Mary and Martha, in which Martha asks Jesus to tell Mary to help with the preparations for dinner. As we consider the contrast of contemplation with Jesus and working and serving Jesus, we contemplate if one is more necessary than the other. “For All of God’s Children” means that children’s sermons are not just for the young… they are for the young at heart and for ALL of God’s children!
