Our Scotland Trip Day 5: Falls of Kirkaig, Rhue Lighthouse, Corrieshalloch Gorge, Torridon!

Day 5 of Poppy Cotton Adventures was all about frolicking through the Highlands! We put our faith in instinct to find the trailhead for the magnificent Falls of Kirkaig. ​The hike offered 360-degree views where I felt like William Wallace running across the hills in triumph. ​The waterfall itself was Stunning. Powerful. Sexy.—just like Holly. ​We stopped at the dramatic Corrieshalloch Gorge, where the mood shifted from frolic to fear on the suspension bridge. I gripped the railing so hard my knuckles turned white! ​Despite the rain and mist, the drive into Torridon was breathtaking. ​We checked into Torridon Estate, which looked like Dracula's summer home. The mood was tense, and the manor was straight out of a low-budget thriller. (Don't worry, we escaped for a spectacular dinner at the Torridon Hotel, enjoying lamb chops and a Macallan 12!). ​Tune in for wild nature, gothic manors, and a full recovery of dignity after a bout of vertigo! ​Join us as we explore the wild, woolly, and beautiful edge of the world!
