This spring, students in Grades 3–8 continue to explore innovation, creativity, and problem-solving through our dynamic Maker Space and Technology program. Each grade level engages in age-appropriate, future-focused learning that builds digital skills, engineering thinking, and responsible use of technology. 3rd Grade: Students strengthen digital citizenship and collaboration skills while learning the Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) to organize ideas, communicate clearly, and create digital projects responsibly. 4th Grade: Students are introduced to coding through Logo and Scratch programming languages, developing sequencing, logic, and computational thinking through creative problem-solving. 5th Grade: In Maker Lab, students are encouraged to dream, engineer, and design, using hands-on tools and design thinking to turn ideas into real-world creations. 6th Grade: Students explore aerospace and physics through rocketry and Kerbal Space Program, applying scientific principles, testing designs, and learning from iteration and failure. 7th Grade: Students build AI literacy, exploring how artificial intelligence works, its ethical implications, and how to engage with emerging technologies thoughtfully and responsibly. 8th Grade: Students apply advanced engineering skills through robotics, designing, building, programming, and refining robots while collaborating in teams and solving complex challenges.
