Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06... want to use some dish soap and as you can see says instantly custard grease that's what you want to do on your hood so when you're done washing then you want a clay bar the surface so we got a clay bar here after we wash out the dish soap clay bar the whole area after we do that we have to put some wax on it luckily the Maguire's comes with a kit so we have a little sponge to put the wax on a little towel to put the wax off but the turtle wax didn't come with any towel or anything so we're gonna use this little sponge here it's really soft it's really good doesn't make any scratches and a really good microfiber towel also you'll need a brush cuz if you get some wax into the gaps just brush it out that way it's gonna make your job way easier so let's begin so first you want to get the surface wet and then put some dish soap on it okay now I just want to spray it down and get as much dirt off with the hose if you have a pressure washer you can you want the pressure washer take some of the dish soap and just pour it on the car like that now just take your microfiber towel and start scrubbing the hood making sure that all the hood is covered with the soap set all the grease and wax to be off the hook the reason we're doing this is to get all the wax that we put before off the hood now just wash it off make sure you wash all the soap off now I just want to wipe it with a it's a microfiber towel it's really good for soaking up water so yeah I was drying I'm gonna take a piece of masking tape and mask it all the way in the middle so now just clay bar this side on this side so I used some soapy water just straight on start clay bar what the clay bar does is it gets all the dirt that's stuck deep into the paint out of the paint it makes a really really smooth surface now wash it down and to the other side okay so I have finished washing it there's no grease or wax on it so it's ready to put the wax on this is gonna be the McGuire side this will give me the sugar wax I'd pop the lid get some the wax on the flying pad then I would start spreading it all on the car make sure you're doing it in straight lines so just apply it all over the hood so this McGuire's wax is synthetic wax so synthetic wax is supposed to be better than normal carnauba wax now just give this about 10 minutes to dry ten minutes later the wax is dry and ready to come off now we're going on to the next side which is the me our fruit a wax side so let's put the wax on this side just pour some on the car and start smudging it up with the pad you about 10 minutes dry and we're gonna use a microfiber towel to wipe all the wax off guys after I wiped it off I'm already noticing a difference in the shine so look at this corner here see how shiny it is look at this corner here it's not as shiny as that side so now let's see if it's smooth well they said it's extremely smooth wow I didn't expect that this side actually isn't as smooth as that side so that's another plus for the synthetic wax now for the moment of truth the water test we're gonna be pouring on water and looking which side the water slides off faster okay that's fine pretty good that's pretty good it slides off now I'll see this side moment of truth oh this side way better that side kind of tends to stay a little more this time flies off right away that is so cool and also you're noticing the difference in the little drops on this side and the little drops on this side after about five minutes as you can see the trigger wax did way better on the water test it slid right off didn't leave any water on it but this one the synthetic wax did but it was shinier on this side it was smoother on this side but this side did better on the water test so if you can't worry about the protection the shine and the smoothness this is the one for you if you care more about water spots not leaving on your car this is the one for you so see the difference here this one left a lot of water marks this one all the water slid off if you guys enjoyed this video be sure to drop a like if you got a subscriber click that red subscribe button and we'll see you guys next time
