Coronavirus outbreak: Manitoba officials see rise in use of COVID-19 self-assessment tool | FULL

Although Manitoba remains under a state of emergency, provincial officials said as of Sunday there remains 19 cases of probable and confirmed cases across the province. The public continues to be reminded to practice social distancing and to use to online self-assessment tool created by the provincial government. The tool has received more than 200,000 clicks since being launch last week. Officials suggest this could be a good first step in diagnosing potential cases as the 24-hour “Health Links” phone line is seeing wait times of up to 45 minutes. Officials reiterated that although they have yet confirm community spread as the cause of COVID-19 infection, the say the province is preparing for this to happen based on what they have seen in other communities across Canada.
