First premiering at Come AS You Are Fest, Colorado, 2025, a prayer. is a collage of a year of my life. December 9th is the one year anniversary of my return to Colorado to start a new life once again, after everything changes, which is also when I decided to start making this film. I am publishing this on December 3rd 2025. When I begin the process I never imagine I will make it to completion, anyways it all feels like just an attempt. Here’s my second attempt at a short film after premiering a poem. a year ago today at the Garrison House where my friends lived in Olympia, Washington. It was a Pajama party. This year when premiering my second film at Come As You Are Fest, I cried in the Kress Cinema where I had spent my adolesce admiring film. At the fest, I was honored to walk in Ropreo, a fashion show directed by Arely Adahi, and I say that just be clear to anyone watching this to stay alive through the pain & make those first attempts art even if you’re embarrassed of it later.
