How to Paint: Animal Constellations

This is a full demonstration video on how to create the "Animal Constellation" project. Prior to completing this assignment, students have practiced using masking fluid and splattering techniques with a smaller formative assessment (a gemstone design) to build up their technique and confidence. Students will need the following supplies: 12"x 16" white paper, pencil/eraser, a set of water colors, brushes, water bowl, masking fluid, black/white tempera paint, toothbrush, sponges, light board, and gemstone source images.
