Since its first flight 15 years ago in April 2005, the Airbus A380 has become known worldwide for being the largest passenger plane ever built. With over 230 being built and operated by 15 different airlines, the A380 is an integral part of the industry and an aircraft that still amazes many people around the world. We have compiled over 13 minutes of our archive footage of the A380. As the COVID-19 situation hits the aviation hard, its economic impacts have forced many airlines to place their A380 aircraft into storage and last week it was announced that Lufthansa would permanently retire 6 of their A380's. In addition to this Air France and Singapore airlines have already started withdrawing A380's from their fleet. This poses the question of how long do these ' SUPER JUMBOS' have left? Over the last number of years we've managed to film many A380's across Europe and they never seize to be an amazing sight.
