He is the Assistant Director of Music at St. Cyprian’s, Clarence Gate, NW1, having last year finished an organ scholarship at St Mary’s, Bourne Street. He is the organist at St. Paul’s School, an organ teacher at King’s College School, Wimbledon, and a prizewinning Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. He can also be found as a freelance organist, teacher, accompanist and continuo player around London. Teenage studies at Holy Trinity, Gosport (on the ‘Handel organ’) led him to hold the organ scholarship of Worcester College, Oxford University, where he achieved a First Class BA in Music and played for various services, concerts and album recordings. Aside from the organ, Alex is also a keen saxophonist and is currently studying for a Masters degree in Jazz Saxophone at the Guildhall School of Music.
