2021-04-01 - Lofthus - Tyssedal with the M7

A windier day, as per the forecast. It was sunny and nice conditions but the ride was way more rough than the day before. The M7 performed beautifully, it was the right tool for the day. Having it solid and with enough speed allowed me to push against wind on the way back and make it all the way to the camping. At some point I got low and I am quite happy I "changed gears" consciously... worked the zeros on a mountain face until I got myself back at altitude... and at the wind level. Landing approach was not a "home run": I got a beating against the stronger, gusty wind. Nice to meet on landing Olav, the owner of the field, also ex-pilot: I envy him a bit that he lives at the base of this fantastic mountain owning a field that's ok to land on! Thanks to him for being ok with my trespassing :). Music: bensound.com
