PINNACLE of CELESTION Speakers | G1265 | Is the REISSUE As Good as The Original?

I've gotten my hands on a 1979 vintage Marshall 4x12 1960A loaded with a quad of branded G1265 speakers. I gotta say, wow, these are some of the most balanced and TRUE sounding speakers I've ever had he pleasure of playing through. None of that hollowness and scrappiness you'd associate with the current G12T75, and also none of the ice-pickiness associated with a V30. They are tonally balance, raw, throaty, punchy and with the right amount of highs in the correct frequency band. These are truly special speakers and the sound of an era. Of course I had to use my 1977 Marshall JMP for this demo and what a match made in hell it was. In the video I shootout the cab with my 1980s Mesa Boogie A cab that has two reissue G1265s up top.
