There is a difference between leading worship and standing as a priest. In this teaching, we return to a truth many worship leaders, musicians, and worship teams have slowly drifted from: before we ever sing, play, or serve, we are called to stand before God as priests. Drawing from 1 Peter 2:9 and the priestly imagery of Exodus 28, this message explores what happens when worship becomes functional but priesthood is neglected. It speaks honestly to the quiet fatigue many worship leaders feel, not because they are doing too much, but because the altar has been replaced with activity. This is not a message about performance, excellence, or doing more for God. It is a call back to reverence, daily devotion, and the private altar. It is about ministering to God before ministering for Him. If you are a worship leader, musician, psalmist, singer, creative, or part of a worship team, this teaching is an invitation to slow down, remember who you are, and return to the place where worship is formed. This session is part of the ongoing Worship Leaders Who Pray journey, a priesthood gathering for those who long for depth, restoration, and presence beyond the platform. Let this be a moment of alignment. Let this be a return. Let this be a reminder that when priests remember who they are, worship heals.
