On the invitation of the EU Security Initiative (EUSI), Radosław Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, delivered a lecture on European security and diplomacy on 18 March, sharing insights from his extensive experience in international affairs and transatlantic politics. The lecture explored Europe’s strategic opportunities and risks in light of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, shifting global power balances, and evolving relations with the United States under President Donald Trump. Minister Sikorski reflected on Europe’s role in supporting Ukraine, the future of the transatlantic alliance, and the tools available to European diplomacy and multilateral cooperation, offering his perspective on the choices facing European allies and partners. Following the discussion with the panel, the live audience had the opportunity to interact with Minister Sikorski during a Q&A session. The event took place in person at the EUI premises in the Refectory, Badia Fiesolana.
