In a small village on the island of Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands (a US Commonwealth) in the middle of the western Pacific Ocean, two sisters went missing off their bus stop. 10-year-old Maleina Luhk and 9-year-old Faloma Luhk, were seen sitting in the little bus pavilion just 100 meters from their home. But, when the bus arrived twenty minutes later they were not there. In spite of a huge FBI investigation and search, they have never been found. What could have happened to these girls in such a small community where everyone knew each other? If one were profiling this case, what would be the questions one would want answered since the public information is very minimal? With what is known, is there a good suspect? What more would we need to know to determine who should be investigated more fully? There is very little available on the case, but I will gather as much info as I can for you.
