About 7 or 8 years ago we rescued two crossbreed puppies, Mandy and Nelson. Mandy was very sociable and was adopted in Finland soon afterwards. Nelson was not initially good with other dogs and this, together with his appearance as a “tough guy”, led to him not being adopted. Families either had other dogs, or cats, or there was a prettier dog to be found. Now that Nelson is a senior, he has found the ideal family! A German/Spanish couple and their two daughters, who live in northern Germany, fell in love and just knew he was the right dog for them after their previous rescue passed away.
