"Next Call Subpixel" by TriStorm, matty2003, Knots & more | Geometry Dash 2.2

"Next Call Subpixel" (conveniently the same abbreviation as "Next Cab Soon", see 0:44) is a megacollab made for Subpixel's birthday, which is today as of writing. That's why every part of the level contains some joke about them. I can't say I remember many levels as personalized as this, especially not of this quality. As you can see in the creator list above, and also just from watching, this shares some creators with "Next Cab Soon", and the others are also very good at executing this art style. I have seen some people in the community be a little tired of this style, since it has been used in a lot of big projects in recent times, which I can understand. Still, you have to admit that this level is of very high quality, and it's made a bit more interesting because it's paired with the unserious theming, making for a fun combination. Every part features really clean designs and background art, as well as unique color schemes. The parts are also very nicely merged with smooth transitions, some including short animations and impact frames, which makes the whole thing flow well. The gameplay is the only thing that didn't stand out in any way, since a lot of it is made free with pads and otherwise it's just clicking indicators or orbs. However, it's somewhat understandable considering all the custom visuals and the requested difficulty, which is 7 Stars.
