INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE «Sustainable Solutions in Public Health» 2025

The International Conference «Sustainable Solutions in Public Health: Addressing Climate Change, Environment, Food Security, and Health System Management in Central Asia» was held on April 22, 2025, in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic. The event gathered participants from Central Asian countries—Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan—as well as international representatives from Iran, Estonia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuania, Slovakia, Russia, Japan, and the United States. The conference aimed to present the outcomes of scientific research and educational programs in medicine, environmental hygiene, food safety, and public health within the context of climate change. The program featured a plenary session and six thematic sections, with a total of 64 expert reports and 25 student presentations delivered by leading researchers, healthcare professionals, and environmental specialists. With the support of UNICEF, special youth-oriented activities were integrated into the conference. Students from 10 universities in Kyrgyzstan presented their research across three youth sessions. An eco-competition brought together 20 student teams, and a green exhibition showcased innovative environmental solutions. The conference was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision, and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as other state and private institutions.
