If you do a single, you will take off a single line from the goal. Anything higher than a single though will take more lines from the goal than what is removed from the matrix. Here is the breakdown of what each line clear removes from the goal: Points gained is the base points listed multiplied by the current level you are on. single : -1 from goal, 100 ponits double: -3 from goal, 300 points triple: -5 from goal, 500 points tetris: -8 from goal. 800 points t spin (no line clears): -4 from goal, 400 points t spin single: -8 from goal, 800 poins t spin double: -12 from goal, 1200 points combo add's a 0.5 multiplier to the points gained for the line clear.
