Breaking News: PM Modi Chairs Meeting With CMs On West Asia Conflict Impact; No Lockdown Planned

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to chair a meeting with Chief Ministers of all states to discuss the impact of the West Asia conflict on India. This is the first such meeting since the war began, coming just a day before the conflict completes one month. The meeting aims to coordinate efforts between the central and state governments to ensure citizens do not face difficulties due to the crisis. The government has categorically ruled out any lockdown, clarifying that India has sufficient energy resources and is in touch with around 41 countries for diversified supplies. Chief Ministers from states heading into elections, including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam and Kerala, will not attend as they are occupied with poll preparations. Their Chief Secretaries will participate in a separate session.
