Hey everyone! We all know that working out is crucial for us to stay fit, but I feel as if most people forget this one part of it. Rest Days. You can train hard all you want, but if you actually want to put effort into what you are doing, your body has to recover from the last workout. It’s not all about working out daily with the same high intensity over and over. Just as your mind needs rest, so do your muscles. When I say resting though, I don’t mean to just lay on your bed and stay there until you are charged up. You are recovering, yes, but that’s not a proper way to do so. The workouts you do should be where you are a bit sore, but not fully. I mean by Active recovery. Active recovery helps you recover while making you active at the same time, so you can recover faster and have more flexibility at the same time. This allows you to keep the intensity of your workouts without destroying your muscles in the moment. Most people do miss this, and wonder if they are truly making progress in their goals.
