The C-130J Hercules is the backbone of UK operational tactical mobility tasks, and the key enabler of the UK’s world-leading rapid response air assault capability. With Close Air Support provided by Typhoons from II Sqn RAF, the C-130s delivered hundreds paratroopers from the British Army’s 16th Air Assault Brigade thousands of miles, to jump straight into action in a combat scenario with their Ukrainian airborne counterparts from the Ukrainian Airborne Assault Forces.
