Alouda is a delicious cold beverage made with milk, basil seeds and agar-agar jelly which is especially refreshing on a hot summer day. This is a very versatile recipe and easy to prepare. It is best to serve cold!! INGREDIENTS: Agar Agar jelly process: 1/2 Litre of water 10g | 1 Cup Agar Agar Flakes | Seaweed flakes Allow to boil until the water is clear completely. And Allow to set for a few hours. Basil seed| Chia Seed| tukmaria Allow to soak in warm water for 30-40 minutes. Milk Process: 1/2 Litre of milk (Full fat milk) 1 tin of evaporated milk 1/2 tin condensed milk (Depending on how sweet you like it) 0r to can even replace it by adding sugar. 1 Tsp Almond flavouring or extract (Add the flavour of your choice) 1 tsp Green food colouring Boil for 10-15 minutes and stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning. Allow to cool completely and chilli for a few hours before serving!!
