Parliamentarians from North Eastern Kenya and other pastoralist communities have threatened to move to court, to push for the nullification of the census results after the cancellation of census results in 8 districts in North Eastern and Turkana. Planning Minister Wycliffe Oparanya said a repeat census had been ordered in the affected areas, a move that has angered the lawmakers, who claimed that the Somali community was being marginalized.
