By James Swearingen (ASCAP) The Atascadero Community Band performed this song as part of its March 2026 concert, "The I's Have It?" This cleverly themed program explores music inspired by “I,” “Eye,” and even “Neigh,” featuring favorites such as Eye of the Tiger, I Believe I Can Fly, I Say a Little Prayer for You, Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, and equestrian-inspired selections like Grey Horse Polka and Black Horse Troop. From pop and Broadway to folk and patriotic flair, the concert promises something for everyone. The podium was shared by conductors Carol Kouklis and Joe Herzog. Carol, also a member of the Artistic Committee which designs our concerts, said: “When we realized how many great songs revolve around ‘I,’ we couldn’t resist building a whole concert around it! From rock to folk to a little horsepower, there’s truly something for everyone.”
