This is the first short film introducing an exciting new Art project underway. Kevin Berlin’s “CROC WEEK!!” unveils new artworks featuring endangered crocodiles and other at-risk species, Opening on December 19th, 2024, at the Palm Beach Art, Antique & Design Showroom, Florida, from 6-8 pm. Fauna & Flora International, working with the Cambodian government (CCCP - Cambodian Crocodile Conservation Program), established the country's first captive-breeding program and have released 196 crocs into the wild since 2012. These reptiles are bred in captivity due to threats from poaching and habitat loss. When old enough, they are released into protected areas within the Cardamom Mountains. In the 90s it was thought to be completely extinct. They’re not cuddly, and it's more about what they represent; the fact that they clean up the ecosystems they live in. They are an apex predator here in Cambodia, and they once thrived here and now they don’t.” — Joe Rose, Captive Breeding Officer, Fauna & Flora Int., Siamese Crocodile Program “People have a lot in common. We all want to live in a beautiful place; we all want to have friends; we want to be loved; we want to build something and watch it grow; we want to be part of the future… and this is also true for crocodiles.” — Kevin Berlin, Artist www.kevinberlin.com @kevinberlin (Instagram) www.fauna-flora.org @faunafloraint (Instagram) Kevin Berlin is an international artist best known for painting, sculpture, and performance.
