I made 3D printed BJD eyes... and you can, too!

BJD eyes with a textured iris are really popular these days, but I had a hard time finding some with a small iris in colors that I liked. Why not make my own? I designed these eye bases with a textured iris already in place so I could just 3D print bases in different sizes and do the job with pastels or paints. The pastels didn't work out as well as I hoped, but I was super happy with the gouache eyes! I'll be sticking to paints from now on. Unfortunately, weather is a big challenge when working with resin, so the UV resin didn't work out perfect, but I think these are a super solid test run and once the weather warms up, I'll be able to try this project again with all the knowledge I gathered this time.
