Dictation - How to turn voice to text on Mac, iOS & Apple Watch.

How to turn speech into text on your Mac, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. With dictation, you can talk to your device and it will turn your speech into text in any application that supports text input. To use dictation to turn speech into text on a Mac, first go to your System Settings and under "keyboard' turn on "dictation". You can set up dictation for multiple different languages, and you can choose a keyboard shortcut that turns on dictation. I'm using the default keyboard shortcut, which is to press the control key twice. So whenever I hit the control key twice, I can start talking to my Mac, and it will convert my speech into text. Once I'm done, I'll press the control key twice and dictation will turn off. This works really well, but I've noticed it helps a lot if you say all your punctuation out loud. So at the end of my sentence, I'll say "period", "comma" or "exclamation mark" out loud, and it will be typed into my text the way I want it. To do this on an iPhone or an iPad, just look for the little microphone icon on the bottom of your keyboard. Tap that, and you can start talking to your device. Tap again, and dictation will turn off. This works in any application that supports text input, so you can use it for texts, emails, notes, and whatever you can think of. It even works on an Apple Watch, so you can respond to messages easily by just talking to your watch.
