There are few Social Enterprises in the borough. As part of Global Enterprise Week and in particular Social Enterprise Day, we're highlighting a few of our borough’s more established social enterprises (some may not be aware that they are in fact social enterprises). These organisations will hopefully serve as inspiring examples for others considering the journey. Waymaker is a compassionate social enterprise dedicated to supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across Northern Ireland. Through professional counselling, play therapy, and tailored mental health services, Waymaker creates safe spaces where young minds can heal, grow, and thrive. Their mission is to make therapeutic support accessible to every child who needs it, regardless of background or circumstance, empowering families and communities with hope and resilience.
