Voluminous, long lasting style? Yes, please! The science behind this technique is pretty simple, but I won’t bore you with that. All you need to know is that hair sets once it is heated and cooled in the same position. With my lock and twist technique the hair gets a chance to cool while locked into the brush. This extends the longevity of your style weather your hair is super fine and flat or thick and frizzy like mine. It is easy to get flustered when you start blow drying your hair. Hang in there! The benefits of blow drying your hair are endless. Here are some of my favorite reasons to blow dry hair: 1. Longer lasting volume. 2. Bouncy, lightweight hair. 3. Shinier, smoother locks! 4. Blowouts lay the groundwork for any other style you decide to do during the week, weather it’s a braid, curls or even pin straight hair. I recommend practicing this technique on just your bangs and the top of your head where it is easier to style.
