This will be a detailed walk through of how I reconditioning a Schaublin 70 lathe. This lathe was a disaster. Abused and forlorn. The spindle literally rattled in the headstock - and that was from moving it by hand! However it was a Schaublin and I've a nasty disconnect between how long things take in mind vs the real world. The focus is reconditioning; restoring factory new accuracy.
