Swiss splitboarder Léa Klaue has often heard "Trust yourself" amidst her mountain journeys. But how do you do that? Where does trust come from? This short film delves into the nuances of self-confidence and its absence. Documenting Léa's ascents and descents of some of the steep north faces in the Valais Alps during the Spring 2023, the film shows the uncertainties of steep riding – a snowboard discipline that demands not only physical and technical skills but also a measure of luck. In the high Alps, where snow and weather conditions are as capricious as one's own self-confidence, the challenge becomes as much about mastering external forces as it is about conquering internal doubts. Ce court-métrage est une réflexion cinématographique sur la confiance en soi, qui peut parfois faire défaut. Il raconte comment Léa s'est lancée sur certaines des faces nord les plus raides des Alpes valaisannes au printemps 2023. Le raide est une discipline de snowboard particulière qui nécessite non seulement les compétences physiques et techniques, mais aussi une bonne dose de chance.
