Like all battles with Abyssion, he starts off with Divine Judgement, which, if you are not aerial when it activates, you are dead. Not too hard to dodge though. Then Abyssion just goes apeshit. He hits hard and fast and can spell cast practically instantly. Luckily a fire resist helps out with this. Tried to use a different set of artes to beat him, using the uncommon Sonic Sword Rain and Demonic Choas in my combos. He has a common pattern luckily with attacking then casting a spell, rinse and repeat. Once his health proportionally, he then starts casting different mystic artes, Falcon's Crest, Time Stop, Indignation Judgement, Shining Bind and Time Stop respectively. Generally, they are quite simple to predict and just a matter of dodging them. All in all, I think he is a good hidden boss and once you get to know his pattern, he becomes easier to deal with. I didn't have much of a plan with him, and just went with it. This was the take I enjoyed the most so stuck with it. Not perfect, but a lot of fun in this battle!
