Emesa is a progressive rock / metal band based in Berlin, Germany. Emesa’s music is a mix of progressive metal music and Middle Eastern sounds and instruments. The band is inspired by different progressive and power metal bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Haken, Leprous, Caligula’s Horse. This is our debut single Semblance. We hope you like it. Music by: Bahij Ghata & Abdullateef Almalouhi Produced by: Bahij Ghata & Abdullateef Almalouhi Line-up: Bahij Ghata - Guitars, Drums, Keys, Lyrics Abdulateef Almalouhi - Guitars, Keys Renan Weignater - Bass Deibys Ar - Vocals Lyrics: I’m standing here Surrounded by memories (enemies) Haunted by those feelings That won’t fade away Searching for clarity Waiting for a sign (chance) When nothing makes sense anymore Hope is an orchestrated illusion Left to the hand of luck The pain won’t stop The suffering Won’t go away These memories are like Hanged souvenirs on the walls Carved in my head It feels so strange To be stuck in this loop of time Lost in a state of trance Not a dream nor reality The damage is done Only time can heal me now What I see is not reality But a controlled illusion What have I done to deserve all this pain? Pale and despair, an endless nightmare Left to the hand of luck The pain won’t stop The suffering won’t go away These memories are like Hanged souvenirs on my walls Carved in my head (Blood on my hand) It feels so strange To be stuck in this loop of time Links: Facebook: / emesa.official Instagram: / emesa.prog YouTube: https://bit.ly/3jMoR8Y Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3b0KqPf Anghami: https://bit.ly/3tWWny3 #Emesa #ProgMetal #ProgRock
