What do you get when you combine Pokémon's Mega Evolution with one of the most iconic characters from Skylanders: Giants? Well, I decided to sculpt him in all his mossy, bark-covered glory. I Sculpted TREE REX from Skylanders: Giants – Polymer Clay Sculpture | Middle of the Island In this video, I take you behind the scenes (and inside my nostalgia ridden brain) as I sculpt Tree Rex from scratch using polymer clay, wire armature, and a very unhealthy obsession with textured bark. I still remember the exact Saturday coming back home with my Skylanders Giants starter box in my hands in the back seat of the car, just staring at it the whole journey home. He’s massive, he glows, and he looks like what would happen if Groot spent six months in the gym and developed a cannon addiction. Sculpting him was incredibly fun —and the end result is a beast I’m genuinely proud of. It's definitely my cleanest craft to date, in my opinion. 📢 Like what you see?
