How to Make Deep Mulch for a No-Till, Ruth Stout (type) Garden 7-8-2020

How we made our deep mulch, no-till, Ruth Stout style garden. We used whatever kind of leaves that fall in the yard. We used wood chips from local tree services. We used all the grass we mowed and we used old hay we got from a neighbor. We did not till any of it into the garden. We spread it out between 4 and 10 inches deep across the entire garden. The mix was not measured in any way. We added what we had when we had it to wherever was thin. To this day we continue to add to the mulch in the garden.
