Priceless | Cody Brown | TEDxJenks Youth

This year, my Ted Talk discusses how capitalism and transactionalism have turned our lives into a constant list of pros and cons. Most notably, when it comes to our relationships and communities, we often turn a blind eye when things are inconvenient, or well, not worth our time. My hope is that after listening to my speech, maybe you all will reapproach how you view those around you, and begin to see people not for what they have, but truly for what they’re worth! ! My name is Cody Brown. I’m currently a Junior here at Jenks and I’m involved with a handful of programs but my favorites are definitely debate, mock trial, and orchestra. I was also a TedXJenks speaker last year (if anyone remembers the mic incident), and I’m so grateful to be back.
