In fact the last time a horror movie with this much hype around it came to theaters it was… well it was Longlegs in 2023, so not that long ago, but now that it’s been a few months since it’s release, Weapons has really retained a lot of the praise it was first getting, while Longlegs had more or less lost its praise and gone into the overhyped conversations.
