Welcome to the first episode of Curiosity's Sake, in this episode, Professor Curious learns the inns and outs of the Pokemon Trading Card Game, so that he can defeat an evil demon and be declared Champion of the art. This is a series that I've wanted to make for a while, though I haven't really had the means to do it. Well, here's me announcing that I finally do! :D This episode is somewhat of a pilot, there are bound to be production problems, some of which I haven't noticed or some that I know about but I can't really do anything about them at this point. As much as I did try, a lot of my equipment and software changed during the making of this series, which is why you'll notice a jump in audio/video quality half way through. The reason for this was that I was using an add on microphone for an Olympus Audio Recorder (which recently gave up for ghost, when I needed it the most... SHIT THAT RHYMED!) and Windows Movie maker. I was only planning on making the first episode on WMM as I'm in the process of buying a new desktop and didn't want to buy a new video editor for a computer that has less than a month to live. However, WMM wouldn't even give me that last month and deliberately crashed or botched my video attempts. I had to abandon one of my jokes in order to compromise with it, which was fine by me, because the joke was of ill taste. The long range mic seemed to be okay but the quality did indeed sound like shit, so I got a HD mic off of Amazon, which managed to solve that problem for the most part. Given that I had new audio and video equipment to deal with, I was basically learning as I worked. I got better over time and I'm continuing to do so but you'll probably notice a bit of a quality curve over the duration of this video. I considered doing the first five minutes again but considering that it's a 5th of the running time, I didn't see much sense in tearing the whole project apart and starting again, if it was the other way around, I'd understand but better video quality half way through the video has to be a good thing, right?
