I’m rather partial to West Seattle because I have lived here for so long! West Seattle is the iconic jut of land just to the South West of Downtown Seattle, giving superb views of the city landscape of Seattle across Elliott Bay and to the West, sunset views of the towering Olympic Mountains with the Puget Sound in the foreground. For those of us who live here, WS is Seattles best kept secret: Neighborhoods with friendly small town feel and great walkability, yet only 10 minutes from downtown Seattle and easy access to I-5 or I-90 (quick access to the Eastside, SEATAC Airport or the Cascade Mountains for some outdoor fun). Known for it's destination locations like Alki Beach, Fauntleroy Park and the shopping, restaurants and community activities of the "Junctions" that run along California Ave SW (Alaska, Admiral and Morgan Junctions). Lots of history here!
