To get to Malindi from Mombasa, you can take a plane or a minibus. The minibus fare from Mombasa to Malindi is 500 Kenyan shillings (3.87 USD). My accommodation in Malindi was near the town center and cost 2000 Kenyan shillings (15.47 USD) per night. Food prices were quite reasonable; I paid 500 Kenyan shillings (3.87 USD) for rice with meat.
