~ Prisoner of Azkaban, Chapter 4 ~ Hogsmeade Village 12:52 - BOSS #7: Draco Malfoy 18:20 - Character Token #1 (Madam Rosmerta) 18:27 - Red Brick (x4 Stud Multiplier) 19:14 - Wizard Hat #1 (True Wizard) This level covers the creatively named level "Hogsmeade." This level is really long - almost half an hour in terms of length! In this level, you have to find a way to get to Hogsmeade. What you're supposed to do is use the Cloak to sneak behind Filch, but this is not exactly the most obvious thing to do (you'd think you need to make a distraction or something), and the first time I tried doing that I somehow got caught anyway. T_T Damn the lack of instruction in LEGO games sometimes... Afterwards, the Weasley Twins stop you (not outside, unlike the film), and you get the Marauder's Map (probably the map on the top screen, if the appearance is any indication). Then you can use Revelio to find a torch next to the staircase. (and I couldn't do this before... why?) In the corridor which is for some reason blocked off by a bunch of rubble (remnants from First Year?), we can open the secret passage via mic. It acts like Parseltongue, which would be amusing in context. In the secret passage, you'll need to open several walled-off doorways by touching them - you'll know which ones they are by checking the map above. Two of these, unfortunately, hold chests that can only be opened in Free Play. In the cellar, there's a code to a vault that can be found in four different notes. Yeah, that TOTALLY sounds convenient to use. (How are you supposed to figure out the combo with four unconnected numbers?) And the vault holds the key to get out of the cellar. (How are you supposed to even get out if you don't know how to access the vault? How do you get in then? I don't even--) We finally get into Hogsmeade, and are thrown straight into a snowball fight with Draco Malfoy and his bulky minions. (Why is it that every year's first boss fight is with Draco?) This can be annoying since cover is almost non-existent and your enemies are quite persistent. You must keep on the move and only fire when your enemies are restocking, or you'll get hit constantly (or miss entirely, it'll depend). Always remember - the defeated bodies of your enemies are good cover for when you need to restock on snowballs. (Hee hee, Crabbe and Goyle are idiots. Why are they just sitting there after defeat anyway?) Since I got hit a lot though, I get a low stud reward. (Seriously, if you're going to make a challenge where you have to take minimal damage, at LEAST throw in some cover!) We get into Hogsmeade proper, where the threat of Sirius is finally mentioned. (And now I'm wondering why the hell is Ron wearing a blue shirt in-game, but an entirely different outfit in the cutscenes? Talk about lazy.) Also, Harry (and Ron) did jackcrap to help Hermione in that snowball fight. Why is she thanking Harry??? Scabbers seems keen to get the hell out of Ron's sight (I'm sure you know why Sirius doesn't like him), and we have to go hunt him down. (Ugh Ron, put him in a durable cage or something!) This area is pretty huge, too, so you're bound to get loads of studs exploring the place. At the end of the level, you need to get into the Three Broomsticks - so we put a block on the chimney and smoke comes flying out. (Isn't that... hazardous?) And then Harry asks why they've locked the door. (Seriously, Harry? Are you THAT oblivious?) We finish the level with a cutscene of Harry entering the Three Broomsticks via Cloak - and be subtly informed of hoW Sirius was a friend of Harry's parents. (And no one's liable to understand what the hell is going on. Or how this is relevant, if they don't know anything about Harry Potter.)
