Another Heavily Modified NH35 Seamaster Watch Build

Today we go back to a very popular style with another Omega Seamaster Homage. This build comes courtesy of a gentleman named Cory who after seeing the original build video reached out to commission a build of his own. As you can see we are still using a 42mm Seamaster style case and bracelet but this time around we are using a blue dial and a matching blue ceramic bezel insert. For this build we again combined two different dials to allow for a custom logo, a date window at 6 o’clock, and featured BGW9 lume. To achieve a similar look to the genuine watch the stock bridge and rotor have been removed and replaced by an after market bridge and rotor both of which feature Cotes de Geneve en Arabesque. The James Bond Style handset is prominent above the dial and the blue color matched date wheel sits just below it. All of this is powered by an NH35 movement. The build went very smoothly and was thoroughly enjoyable as these Seamaster style builds allow for a great deal of technical work to achieve the final product. With some extra time available I touch on the evolution of lume in the watch industry as well as the Seamaster featured in James Bond Films. I hope you enjoy it.
