Stacking Sunday 6: A common mistake: Do not clip your background to black.

This episode of Stacking Sunday covers the Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN) around M81 and M82. In their own right, those galaxies are already very interesting due to their H-alpha details. But there is something hidden in the background, which is easily overlooked if you process incorrectly. Many people tend to make their images much too dark. Some do this to hide imperfections. This video is hopefully showing that this is a bad habit. Space is not black.
