It's not often that one sees this more modern style of a Rain Bird 65 series sprinkler with a regular "spoon" drive arm instead of the currently standard anti-backsplash (PJ) drive arm. This particular 65D-TNT was originally used as a larger radius secondary end gun on the end of an old center pivot machine, which is used in conjunction with the larger main end gun to help fill in the coverage gap that they often create. This one is a later model that shares the same overall upper body and bearing assembly as the current 65PJ-TNT uses, with the only notable exceptions being the obviously different drive arm type and older friction/trip collars it has. For this run I used a 11/32" nozzle with a plastic stream straightening vane behind it, which was putting out around 25 GPM with 50-55 PSI at the nozzle and I'd say it was throwing out there somewhere in the ballpark of 70 feet.
